Healthe Care Australia is delighted to officially re-open the new, purpose-built extensions to Wollongong Day Surgery.

Located in the heart of the Wollongong health precinct, the new development has added two state of the art operating theatres (four theatres total), an expanded recovery space, two floors of medical consulting suites, and two floors of off-street parking.

Built at a cost of $23 million, the remodeled facility offers a range of Day Surgery services, including endoscopy, eye surgery, maxillo-facial, gynaecology, orthopaedics, urology, dental, ENT, dermatology, and plastics and reconstructive surgery.

An important part of the local healthcare landscape for over 30 years, Wollongong Day Surgery is pleased to have expanded services for patients from throughout the region, providing exceptional patient-centred care and helping to address expanding public hospital waitlists, which continue to grow as a result of COVID-19.
