After graduating from the University Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Dr Robin D’Rozario practised general dentistry for two years.  

In 1979 he was accepted into a six year fully accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. During his clinical residency, he undertook clinically based research on the repair of Trigeminal Nerve injuries obtaining both an Honours Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Adelaide. Dr Robin D’Rozario obtained his Fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine) in 1982.   

His final year of training in 1985 was spent as a visiting Senior Resident at the Bremen General Hospital in Germany, also spending time at OMF Surgery units in Arnhem in the Netherlands and Leuven in Belgium. Subsequently, he returned to Australia to commence both public and private practice in the Illawarra.  

Although he was privileged to have trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, his special interests include dento-alveolar surgery (wisdom teeth and surgical exposure of impacted teeth), dental implant surgery (including bone and tissue augmentation) and corrective jaw surgery for jaw deformities.

Dr Robin D’Rozario is committed to continuing professional development, and attends numerous conferences and hands on workshops both in Australia and overseas each year to keep up with current trends.  

Dr D’Rozario has consulting rooms in West Wollongong and operates regularly at Wollongong Day Surgery.

The range of clinical services he provides includes:

•Dentoalveolar surgery – removal of impacted teeth, surgical exposure of impacted teeth

•Orthognathic Surgery (corrective jaw surgery)  – a wide range of facial osteotomies

•Major pre prosthetic surgery including  dental implants

•Autogenous harvesting and grafting

•Surgical management of temporomandibular disorders

•Surgical management of a wide range of jaw pathology and oro facial infections

•Secondary repair of cleft palate  

Outside his work commitments, he pursues multiple outdoor activities including running, bike riding, snow skiing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, bush walking and tennis.  Having been brought up in Adelaide he is a passionate Adelaide Crows supporter.  He and his family  feel privileged to be living in the Illawarra and getting actively involved in the local community.
