I come from a small town near the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am second generation of a large Italian family who grew up to become a doctor, having studied at the University of Buenos Aires. After this achievement, I trained in Orthopaedic Surgery at one of the major hospitals in Buenos Aires, finishing mid-2014.

Before coming to Australia, I performed a Sports Fellowship with the combination of both non-surgical and surgical techniques to treat numerous pathologies of the body. Throughout this training, I acquired the skills in treating numerous Sports conditions and gained an interest in the use of Platelet Rich Plasma in Orthopaedics.

As I wanted to broaden my horizons, I made the decision to have an international experience and mid-2015, I moved to Australia. Here, I performed several Fellowships with multiple surgeons at the peak of their career. I became knowledgeable in Lower Limb surgery in general with a main interest in Foot and Ankle surgery, Knee surgery, Hip arthroscopy and lower limb Sports injuries. During this period, I met my wife Hannah and decided to stay and settle down in Australia.

During my training and Fellowships, I visited surgeons overseas. The most outstanding experiences were New York, where I spent 3 months at the most prestigious Orthopaedic hospital in the USA and Bordeaux, where I focused on improving a novel surgical technique: mini-invasive foot surgery.

In 2019, after many years of work and study I became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Since I come from a small community where being close to the people is the most important part, I decided to put down roots in the Southern Highlands, near where Hannah’s family live.
